We loved this place. The food and drinks were amazing! The service was top notch and the atmosphere was plush, cozy, and romantic. We ordered beef jerky, hot fried chicken, money bag dim sum, crab lo mein and seafood fried rice. All plates were delicious, it's hard to pick a favorite. Definite place to go and try out!!
Our server Josh, was knowledgeable about the menu and even offered recommendations for each section! Service was speedy and everything was plated beautifully. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience! It was a great send off meal before our flight home.
We had an amazing dinner here! Every dish was delicious. The bread is an absolute must try, as are the wagyu tacos! And don’t sleep on the eggplant side - it will change your view of eggplant!! This was such a great experience and the service was unbelievably attentive and so nice. To top the amazing meal off, our server Ralph was just exceptional!!
While the food quality and taste were good, they were not spectacular enough to justify the prices charged, with the portions so small. The prices caused my partner and I to end up not ordering any of the main plates because they were way too much out of our price range. Even the small plates and dumplings we have ordered, some of them were outrageously expensive. The ikura sushi was excellent, as the salmon roe easily popped and provided a good amount of juice that made the overall experience enjoyable. The nori was nicely salted as well, making the overall dish flavorful. Even though there were only two, I thought $14 was overall acceptable. The bok choy had a good amount of ginger in it, and tasted just like what I have been used to, which can be a plus or a minus for some. For $18, which is not a bad price, it is still acceptable, but just I have gotten tastier for less. The quail came with a few pieces and they were delicious! Very well seasoned and grilled to pretty much perfection. $27 was a bit too much for the portion given, though. Then finally the lobster shumai tasted relatively plain, and even more plain than shumai that you can find in regular Chinese restaurants, which to me was definitely not worth $38 at all. For that amount of money, one wouldn't be full and wouldn't enjoy the tasty experience, either, in my opinion. Something worth mentioning is that Komodo was the only place in the hotel that day that had spots available for reservation. Everywhere else ran out of space. I am not sure what that exactly means, but would like to offer that fact.
The Chilean sea bass is phenomenal. You have to try it - you can not like fish and will love this! Everything was delicious and our server, Kalee, was super friendly and helpful ordering. Highly recommend!
